The Aman Spa at Amangiri has been created to reflect the holistic principles and healing traditions of the Navajo people who have made the Four Corners region their home for centuries. Theirs is an all-encompassing philosophy of life which sees the earth and all that exists in the natural world as manifestations of the Sacred. This holistic approach to the world implies that all things in life are connected to one another, interacting according to a natural order. A state of equilibrium is achieved by living a life that is balanced and in harmony with creation, and by respecting the four elements of life and destruction – earth, wind, fire and water.
